Oh my gosh...let's just say, I am in love with the Maldives! There was so much to do, and the scenery was just so beautiful...and the activities were just to die for. I am SO going back there again!

I finally got the chance to surf. It was really really really tiring, but super fun as well! And I did manage to catch a few waves, and we could only surf over coral reefs so at the end of the wave we had to quickly paddle back out so as not to be smashed into by random sets of waves. Too bad we couldn't just float back onto the beach...

Scuba diving totally beats surfing though. I got my open water certificate, and now I've done...7 dives total. 4 in Thailand, 3 in the Maldives. The water there was crystal clear, and the coral and fish and underwater scenes were literally like something out of Finding Nemo. We saw sea turtles and shadows of sharks, along with moray eels, Napoleon wrasse and tons of other amazing fish! Took a lot of underwater pictures, so I'll upload those in a bit. But the most fun part was when we caught this huuuuge underwater current and did a drift dive. Just let go and floated along...it was pretty scary, but amazingly fun too! Hoping to go dive in South-East Asia and get my advanced certificate soon =]

Donut boating was awesome. It's like this round inflated thing that you sit in, and a speed boat drags you along. I fell off it, and you have to hang on for dear life, but it's totally awesome!

Seabob is SO COOL. It's kinda like an underwater jetski, where lie down, hold onto it, and you can make it accelerate over the water. Then, if you dip it's head down, it goes UNDERWATER as well. I saw a few stingrays with this ^^

We saw HUNDREDS of dolphins. Literally. I took a couple of pictures of them jumping around, since spinner dolphins like to show off!

Parasailing...ohmygosh, it was sunset, and the view from above was amazing. I even saw a ship wreck from above on a coral reef! Next time, I'm so taking my camera with me to photograph while in the air!

Overall though, I have to say, it was an awesome trip. And the sunsets there were beautiful. A great place for photography and relaxation...but along with tons of activities to do!

Anyway, now I'm back, and school starts on Monday. Tons of homework to catch up with, and a lot of tests to revise for... But the good thing is that my book is going really well. The book launch is set for the 18th of December, and I've just seen the next drafts for the front and back covers, and they look amazing! Character drawings for publicity have also come out really well, and everything's going smoothly. Further down the line when the launch nears, I'll post up more information on it =]

As for other updates...go watch The Ugly Truth! It's so funny, and is kinda a bit like 27 Dresses. Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl are awesome in it. I'm also watching Gossip Girl, Smallville, and a few other series as well. Was tempted to watch Prison Break the last season, but I heard the ending's really bad...so I guess I'll watch it later. Still, I have to say, one of my favorites right now is the Vampire Diaries, which is surprisingly good. It's got a few similarities to Twilight, but I actually like it way better. Check it out if you have the time
