HEY EVERYONE. I'm 17 today. Yayyyy + nooooo

Feels weird growing older. But I'm kinda happy too because it means soon I'll be 18 and then I'll be able to go ice diving. Hahaha, funny reasons XD

ANYWAY. I'm currently planning a possible trip to Europe...specifically the Netherlands...during April

Mom wants to go. Says it'll be beautiful. But I'm still debating over Maldives. Since I reallyyyyy wanna go diving too. Any suggestions? ^^

As for other trips...I'm headed off to the US during the summer. Probably attending Yale Summer School there - applied for Crime and Punishment and Social Theory credit courses. Even though I'm only a junior, I'll be studying with seniors + undergraduates!

And I struck a deal with my mom - we're probably gonna end up going to Antarctica on a cruise this December, and then NEXT December on a private tour on a plane to specifically see Emperor Penguins and visit the South Pole plus ice climbing/mountaineering/kite skiing/visiting ice caves/rappelling down ice crevasses. Meaning: 2 trips to Antarctica! YES!

OHOHOH. And: I have a

More news on my book. I finished book 2, The Nymph Treasury, and am currently working with a Harvard grad as an editor. He's super awesome and is the editor of some magazine

Hopefully he'll be able to polish my work up a bit ^^ Also, book 1 of The Mermaid Apprentices BOTH Thai and English versions have sold out! We need to reprint ASAP. Since I recently went on a
talk show that's kind of like the Thai version of Oprah - as in super popular with viewers with awesome ratings. Meant my sales sky rocketed! I sold a chapter of book 1 to a tutoring company (Kumon), and they'll be printing like 50,000+ copies of it and using it to teach. No other updates on the graphic novel version of book 1 apart from preliminary sketches of characters/settings/prologue/chapter1.

I've mostly been getting awesome press on my work - compliments by award-winning authors and other prominent figures within Thailand, along with lots of fans/teachers/students. There are the occasional criticisms or speculation that I use a ghost writer (bonkers), that I get an "ENGLISH-SPEAKING NANNY" to write it (what the heck!?), that I over act and speak more English than Thai (well sorry for trying to make talking for an hour interesting and for having been at an international school since I was young), and that I can only do what I do because of my financial status (so being rich equates to success in writing a book?). I mean I can understand where they're coming from in a way, but Goddamnit they haven't even read my work or talked to me or met me yet. So some of my fans have created a hidden group on Facebook to support me. It's really sweet of them to do so, since we're all after the goal of making Thai kids read and write more

ANYWAY. An early happy Valentine's Day to you all, and those of you who celebrate Chinese New Year. May all your wishes and aspirations come trueeee
